  • Xbox Games With Gold April CONFIRMED free Xbox One games REVEALED by Major Nelson

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) announced the April 2018 selection of Xbox Live free games With Gold. Remember, all 360 titles offered with Gold are backwards compatible on Xbox One, so you won't need to bust out your old box just to play them. April's lineup provides over $129 dollars in value and up to 4000 in gamerscore. Like all of the months before, Microsoft will be handing out four games in total: two each for Xbox One and Xbox 360. The first title up for grabs will be The Witness, which will be available for the entire month of April. Starting on April 16, it'll be joined by Assassin's Creed Syndicate, the 2015 entry in the AC series that's set in 19th century London. Dead Space 2 will only be available through April 30 while Assassin's Creed Syndicate will be free to download until May 15.

The second Xbox One title of the month is Assassin's Creed: Syndicate, marking the first time Ubisoft found the opportunity to fund the extensive resources needed to animate a playable female character. It's a video game based on the movie, and is ideal for children. Still, this might be a good download if you've got some youngsters who would like to play, even if most players would otherwise give it a pass.
