That's right, Google is taking a page out of the "Mission Impossible" playbook with this feature, which should be helpful when sending sensitive or confidential information over email that could potentially end up in the wrong hands. After following up on this news, TechCrunch obtained a series of screenshots revealing the service's upcoming design.

Google had refused to remove the links, leading NT2 and another man known as NT1 to take the company to court.

The latter businessman, however, "has not accepted his guilt, has misled the public and this court, and shows no remorse over any of these matters", the judge ruled.

"He remains in business, and the information serves the goal of minimizing the risk that he will continue to mislead, as he has in the past", the court said. "There is no evidence of any risk of repetition". It was information about business crime, its prosecution, and its punishment. He had asked for the deletion of three search results which mentioned his conviction.

"Working on an email service is hard as you have to be compatible with all sorts of email providers and email clients". "We are pleased that the Court recognized our efforts in this area, and we will respect the judgements they have made in this case".

They contained an announcement for a real-estate auction after he got into debt. Since then, Google has received requests to delist at least 2.4 million links from its search results and has removed about 800,000 of those links.

"The right to be forgotten is meant to apply to information that is no longer relevant but disproportionately impacts a person", said Jim Killock, executive director of The Open Rights Group, which fights for internet freedoms.

Anybody can exercise their right to be forgotten via an online form.

Both men requested that Google remove search results about their pasts: NT1 submitted his request to remove six links on June 28th, 2014, while NT2 submitted his request to remove 11 links on April 14th, 2015.

These cover nearly two-and-a-half million URLS, 49.3 per cent of which were deleted.

Google did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but we will update this story if and when we hear back.
