  • Adult film actress Stephanie Clifford also known as Stormy Daniels speaks to media along with lawyer Michael Avenatti outside federal court in Manhattan

"Ms Clifford has suffered damage as a result of Mr Trump's false and defamatory statement in an amount to be proven at trial but in excess of Dollars 75,000", it said.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels filed a defamation suit against Donald Trump Monday, targeting the president for his insistence that she was not threatened over sharing details of an alleged affair. "A total con job, playing the Fake News Media for Fools (but they know it)!", the US President had tweeted last month.

[W] e filed this lawsuit against Mr. Trump for his recent irresponsible and defamatory statements about my client Stormy Daniels.

The complaint continued, "It was apparent that Mr. Trump meant to convey that Ms. Clifford is a liar, someone who should not be trusted, that her claims about the threatening encounter are false, and that she was falsely accusing the individual depicted in the sketch of committing a crime, where no crime had been committed".

Ms Daniels alleges that she became friendly with Mr Trump when he offered a place on U.S. version of The Apprentice.

The main question being asked was why the group had made a decision to continue with the hike in an area known for flash floods. Haaretz reports that one of the girls who died on the ill-fated trip messaged friends the night before to share her misgivings.

Cohen has admitted paying Daniels $130,000 of his own money as part of the non-disclosure pact.

According to Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, the unknown man referred to her child, saying, "That's a attractive little girl".

"And a guy walked up on me and said to me, 'Leave Trump alone". The suit claims, "Mr. Trump used his national and global audience of millions of people to make a false factual statement to denigrate and attack Ms. Clifford". The man then looked at Daniels' young daughter and said, "That's a handsome little girl".

Trump responded to Daniels's claim that, in 2011, a man threatened her to stay quiet about her alleged sexual relationship with Trump. She is suing the president again, but this time for defamation of character by way of a #Tweet. The suit claims Trump "purposely did not sign the agreement so he could later, if need be, publicly disavow any knowledge of the Hush Agreement and Ms. Clifford".

Zervos had accused Trump of kissing her against her will and groping her at a meeting about a possible job, and that he defamed her by calling such allegations lies.
