Liverpool star Mohamed Salah's convincing lookalike (Ahmed Bahaa) has been spotted in Egypt - the Liverpool man's home country.

Salah has a sponsorship deal with rival telecommunications firm Vodafone. It's nothing I explained to him.

In comments later made to a popular television show, he said: "Consider that all the demands made by them (Salah and his agent) are met".

The 25-year-old has been impressive for the Reds this season - scoring 31 goals in 34 matches in the Premier League this season.

At the World Cup, Egypt will play in Group A against host Russia, Saudi Arabia and Uruguay.

USA military plane crashes near airport in Georgia
An Air Force spokesperson specified the plane was a WC-130 weather reconnaissance plane, belonging to the 156th Airlift Wing. He said initial information indicated there were five to nine people aboard the plane, which was heading to Arizona.

Bahaa, the former Cairo University student is becoming a popular figure on social media due to his resemblance to Salah.

"But if you look Firmino tells Salah to move up front".

Ramy Abbas, Salah's agent, was quoted by ESPNFC as saying he has been waiting for a response from Egyptian officials.

And, of course, when you have Mo Salah running free around the pitch - particularly not being marked by Roma who played no full backs the first day - you're going to have to assume that he at least will have a bit of success.

Salah's contributions alone would incredibly see Liverpool sat in seventh on 53 points and with a goal difference of +4 - four places below their current position, but enough to secure European football. However, one Canadian journalist has attempted to do just that, raising an odd criticism of Liverpool's top goalscorer to his manager Jurgen Klopp in his pre-match press conference. To most Egyptians, he brings them happiness and pride at a time of great economic difficulties. "I was hoping the handling (of the dispute) would be classier than this", Salah tweeted.
