Nearly as soon as they appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony to watch the planes of the Royal Air Force in their traditional flypast, Kate Middleton's mini-me and her older brother were bringing the cuteness alongside the Queen's granddaughter, Savannah Phillips, with claps and giggles all around.

The Queen, who has attended every Trooping of the Colour of her reign (bar 1955 when it was cancelled due to strike action), also arrived in a carriage. At one point while standing on the balcony, Princess Charlotte appeared to fall backward and started to cry.

Great-granddaughter Savannah Phillips even covered Prince George's mouth with her hand.

In recent years, the duke has been caricatured as a gruff old stick-in-the-mud, making headlines with his politically incorrect ice-breakers when meeting the public.

Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte was none the wiser to her cousin's antics, clapping with delight during the Queen's birthday parade.

Nadal's set streak ended by Schwartzman as rain halts clash
Marin Cilic and Juan Martin del Potro were locked at 5-5 in a first-set tie-break when their quarter-final was suspended. Nadal , who lost only two points in the first five games, will next play Germany's world number 70 Maximilian Marterer.

In celebration of the queen's birthday, which is actually in April, over 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians come together each June in a display of military precision and horsemanship.

A daughter, wife, mother and grandmother of men who have seen active duty in the armed forces, Queen Elizabeth also served in uniform in World War II and has a deep affection for the armed forces.

A Sikh Coldstream Guards soldier became the first to wear a turban during the Royal Horseguards ceremony Saturday - a move he said he hopes will be a "new change in history". Aside from Princess Charlotte's fall, she worked her charm by showing off her excellent waving skills.

Here is this year's Trooping the colour, just in case you missed it.
