Despite this, Roseanne has insisted she's entitled to her own opinions and that the racism storm hasn't led her to reevaluate her political position.

Tearing up at times, Barr said, "I want people to like me". "That's what was in my head".

Asked what she would say to Jarrett if she was given the opportunity, Roseanne said: "I'm sorry that you feel harm and hurt, I never meant that".

"If she's watching, I'm so sorry that you thought I was racist and that you thought my tweet was racist". During the interview, Barr apologized for her "ill-worded" post and reiterated yet again that she is not a racist. I never meant that.

"It cost me everything", Barr said.

'Well, I kind of think I am, ' Barr said.

"Plus I'll tell her, she's gotta get a new haircut", Barr added.

According to Barr, "He constantly put his hands all over me".

First half of the week brings more afternoon rain & storms
Like Monday , storms will take advantage of plentiful tropical moisture and produce rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. Highs will tumble into the rain-cooled 80s behind the front Thursday and stay there through this weekend.

On Thursday evening she admitted she believes she's finally been forgiven for her words during a live podcast recording event with Rabbi Shmuley Boteach entitled "Barr'd" at the Stand Up NY Comedy Club.

"Here's what I have to say: Let's talk about it. Let's really turn this into a teachable moment", Barr said, telling Hannity she assumed Jarrett was Iranian because she was born in Iran.

"Abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values", ABC Entertainment chief Channing Dungey said in describing Barr's tweet and announcing the show's cancellation just days after Barr headlined the network's upfront presentation. "Martin Luther King said two things about forgiveness: He said... forgiveness is not an occasional act, it's a constant attitude, and... when we've lost the capacity to forgive, we've lost the capacity to love". "We need to talk about race and everything that's connected to it", she said. In a recent YouTube video, she screamed, "I thought the b*tch was white!"

Barr's interview with Hannity was her first since ABC cancelled Roseanne hours after she tweeted about Valerie Jarrett, a former aide for President Barack Obama.

She added that she invited Jarrett to join her appearance on Sean Hannity, which she refused.

"Here's what I have to say, she said, when pressed for an apology by Hannity, before offering a rambling explanation about "globalism", claiming her tweet was making a political point about Iran, instead of a racist one".

Barr also revealed that when it comes to Twitter, "My kids took it away from me forever".

"I have a different view of that", Barr replied.
