Israel intercepts ship attempting to break Gaza blockade

A ship on a humanitarian mission to Palestine carrying 22 activists from around the world is believed to have been seized by Israel when the ship was approaching Gaza.
Freedom Flotilla was intercepted by the Israeli navy on Sunday afternoon approximately 70 from the Gaza Strip shore. From 2008 through 2016, global activists have sailed 31 ships and boats to challenge the Israeli naval blockade.
The Gaza health ministry said about 264 Palestinians sustained injuries Friday, 90 by live fire.
The flotilla boat also carried a quantity of urgently needed medical supplies to be gifted to Gaza's over-stretched health services, and the boat itself was intended as a gift to Gaza's fishers.
