  • Apple Watch Series 4 Tipped to Sport Larger, Higher Resolution Display

As per reports in BGR and 9to5Mac, Apple will scrap the "Plus" branding and instead adorn the 6.5-inch iPhone with the Pro moniker. The 5.8 inches and 6.5 inches models would feature OLED display while the 6.1 inches model would have an LCD screen.

The 6.1-inch iPhone will be the most affordable model in this year's lineup. Oh, and it seems a cool new gold color will be making the rounds.

The software experience will therefore be identical, aside from perhaps a few additional features on the iPhone XS and XS Plus models. The 6.1-inch iPhone is expected to be built out of aluminium, instead of stainless steel which will be used with the other two. There could be improvements in the camera, but the details are not clear yet.

Keep in mind that Apple's iPhone series is usually much more expensive in India.

Apple is also rumored to be toying with the idea of launching an iPhone with an LCD display. This is a "living" article that will be updated and refreshed as new, relevant information becomes public. You may have seen the invite Apple sent last week, asking members of the press to "gather round". Reputed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo back in June also stated that the LCD model could be priced for $600-$700. Another possibility regarding iPad 2018 model is that it will feature FaceID just like iPhone X. The screen could measure about 6.1 inches. The leaked images of the Apple Watch Series 4 confirmed it to sport larger edge-to-edge display.

It is assumed these prices are for the baseline models of each model specified. Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max Prices Leaked Ahead of September 12 Launch Event.

Trump Lambasts Jeff Sessions...Again
Sen Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) tweeted that Trump was "looking to use the Department of Justice to settle political scores". Trump wrote on Twitter the Justice Department's decision to file charges will hurt safe Republican seats in the U.S.

Up until now, rumours suggested that the device will be called the iPhone XS, and it will be the successor to the current iPhone X, and feature a new gold colour, according to 9to5 Mac which revealed the images. The crown seems to be more deeply embedded into the body of the watch and its opening seems to be of a different shape.

Waiting for new and upgraded Apple Watch?

And then there's this person, who realizes Apple is doomed no matter how people pronounce iPhone XS, as the name "Ten-S" also sounds similar to "Tennis".

With less than a week to go until Apple's next iPhone event it appears that most of the secrets are out.

Apple has scheduled an event on September 12th at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.
