Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday urged the media to give the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Centre as well as provinces at least three months' time to settle in and deliver.

In reply to a question, the prime minister said tree plantation was not exclusively the government's job, rather it was about the whole mankind and the whole nation.

Imran Khan has also taken notice of the problems faced by the people due to unnecessary hurdles created on the occasion of his arrival in Lahore last night.

To a question about using helicopter to commute between PM Office and his residence in Bani Gala, the prime minister maintained that he uses the chopper for he doesn't want to cause inconvenience to the commuters.

Prime Minister Khan said the National Accountability Bureau had been directed to continue an indiscriminate accountability process in the country. He said the government wanted indiscriminate accountability, adding that he would not spare anyone within his own party if they were found guilty of corruption.

PM Khan said none of his cabinet members was appointed permanently and could be shuffled on the basis of performance.

Steelers players not fretting Bell's absence
When asked directly about Bell, guard Ramon Foster pivoted to Conner. "We will weigh all of those things at the appropriate time. The Steelers and Bell have been unable to reach a long-term deal for the second consecutive season.

The first day of the drive was observed as "Plant for Pakistan Day" when around 1.5 million saplings were planned to be planted in a single day across the country.

"Terrorism is a regional and global phenomenon and Iran is ready to cooperate with Pakistan in this regard", Zarif said.

During their talks, Khan said Pakistan places importance on its relations with Japan and that he hopes more Japanese firms will make inroads into his country.

Khan said this after meeting Kazuyuki Nakane, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan who called on the prime minister and congratulated him on his election victory. He added that many countries, such as the United States are keen to invest in the country.

Regarding the transfer of District Police Officer Pakpattan Rizwan Gondal, Imran said the Supreme Court had taken notice and it will be provided full information.

During the visit, Sidhu sparked controversy after he was photographed hugged Pakistan Army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. He alleged the previous government's claims of a civil-military divide was "propaganda" and did not reflect reality.
