Records Show Governor Candidate Gillum Got ‘Hamilton’ Ticket From Undercover FBI Agent

  • Democratic candidate for Florida Governor Andrew Gillum

I'll admit, with so many exciting political races happening across the country, Florida's gubernatorial race had mostly slipped past my radar.

As the campaign of Andrew Gillum, the Tallahassee mayor and Democratic candidate for Florida governor, is gaining steam, a shocking revelation has come to light. By the time Gillum and DeSantis squared off in Broward County, nearly 1.4 million Floridians already had cast their ballots.

The Republican former congressman also recalled Gillum's remarks from a few nights earlier.

Geoff Burgan, a spokesman for the campaign, criticized Kise as one of "Rick Scott's former political hatchet men" who made a decision to "leak more documents about trips and events that have been reported on before". DeSantis said during a debate Wednesday. "Awesome news about Hamilton". "Now I'm not calling Mr. DeSantis a racist, I'm simply saying the racists believe he's a racist".

In a Facebook live stream from Richmond Heights - the Miami neighborhood where he grew up - Gillum said the texts and emails "only confirm what we have said all along".

As of Friday morning, 869,745 Republicans had cast ballots, compared to 808,288 Democrats and 347,488 unaffiliated voters, out of the state's almost 13.3 million registered voters, according to the Division of Elections. DeSantis interrupted the question, though, blurting out, "How in the hell am I supposed to know every single statement someone makes?" "When I got there after work, got my ticket, we went in and saw it, assumed my brother paid for it".

A delegation of the European Union said on Saturday that it was closely following the events in Sri Lanka. President followed his mandate under Article 42 (4) of Sri Lanka's Constitution to appoint a new PM.

Clock it: Ron DeSantis has been declared a racist by Democrats less than 12 hours after winning his primary election for saying Monkey this up.

"These things are also not only created to go after their base of voters who they think is going to be motivated by these kinds of things, but there's also a little bit of an effort to throw me off my game", Gillum said.

In addition to Trump visiting the state twice, the White House has also reportedly been mulling "blanketing" the state with Trump robo-calls and sending presidential text messages to voters who haven't yet mailed in their absentee ballots. "I'm for police accountability, but law enforcement society can not work and, quite frankly, law enforcement can not do its job if it does not have a trusting relationship with the community", Gillum said. He noted that Tallahassee has the highest murder rate of any city in the state.

Gillum admitted he had taken the ticket, but said he received it from his brother and thought his brother swapped them for concert tickets. He has denied the remark was a reference to Gillum's race. But DeSantis pointed to text messages indicating that he was not truthful when he previously insisted that he believed his brother was responsible for providing tickets to the "Hamilton" production on Broadway. Gillum maintained his innocence and argued that Republicans were attempting to reinforce "stereotypes about black men", by bringing up the accusations. "Why would an undercover Federal Bureau of Investigation agent posing as a contractor give him a thousand dollar ticket to Hamilton?". On Thursday, Jackson said he had asked the ethics commission to include the Tampa trip in his complaint. With any luck, Andrew Gillum will get to move into the governor's residence in January, enabling Ron DeSantis to retire to a remote mountain hideaway where he'll never risk accidentally encountering this clip again.

In 2013, Gillum voted in favor of allocating $2.1 million in redevelopment funds to a restaurant named "The Edison", which is located in an older, city-owned building.

"That is what corruption is ..."
