WWE's top star John Cena and wrestling legend Daniel Bryan have been removed from the show for unspecified reasons, but rumours suggest they refused to be part of it. Quite aside from actually going forwards with Crown Jewel in the first place, the company decided this of all shows was the right time to wheel out Hulk Hogan for his big return - a good day to bury bad news. McMahon is backstage at Crown Jewel, and he is running the show as usual. The country was never mentioned during the broadcast, like they hadn't been on "Monday Night Raw" and "SmackDown Live" for the weeks leading up to the event.

Hogan, who wasn't seen again on the show, never used the words Saudi Arabia, instead saying "here" and at "the Crown Jewel". Hogan tipped off his role at Crown Jewel and hinted at a potential return to WrestleMania recently in an interview with the Orlando Sentinel. However, the call by WWE officials was to have the decision made to quietly list Hogan's name on the WWE website.

WWE received obvious pushback when the deal was struck, and those gripes have only intensified since the Khashoggi murder. The Undertaker was booed on Raw when he spoke the words Crown Jewel.

Pogba to consider changing penalty approach after Pickford save
I don't like Mickey Mouses, fragile players who are afraid and go: 'I don't take penalties.' I don't like that. His penalty was saved, but he stuck in the rebound. "I was lucky", Pogba said after the game .

WWE fans might be surprised with Rollins winning the World Cup, but reports have floated around stating Dean Ambrose has been spotted in Saudi Arabia, so he could be used to hinder The Kingslayer's chances of winning, causing another superstar to win the tournament.

Powell's POV: WWE added the U.S. Championship match today.

The first event; April's Greatest Royal Rumble, was heavily criticised for appearing to be little more than a propaganda exercise for Saudi Arabia and how apparently progressive things are now under the current leadership. "It's a very sensitive subject these days, naturally".
