Newlyweds Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh arrive in Mumbai

The couple, who got married in Italian lakeside town of Como earlier this week, was spotted at the Mumbai airport and later at his apartment complex, Shree.

Ranveer Singh and his bride Deepika Padukone are back in Mumbai. In the process, they appeared to block the way in which the actors were walking. Both were dressed in cream-coloured clothes - Deepika in a churidar kameez while Ranveer sported a churidar kurta. He was also photographed escorting the new bride to the auto - he opened the vehicle door for Deepika, who took a seat after bidding goodbye to the shutterbugs with folded hands. In the pictures and videos that are now online, the duo can be seen smiling and waving to crowds. In the pictures, Ranveer is looking the happiest and grooviest groom ever. The wedding had been conducted in two ceremonies, as per Konkani rituals and also according to North Indian traditions. Before that, they had a mehendi and sangeet ceremony too.

Pictures from both the weddings were shared by the couple on their respective social media accounts.

It is to be noted that no Bollywood celebrity made the cut for the celebrations at Lake Como.
