Trump releases new 'sickening,' 'racist' campaign ad | Campaign Trail

  • Michael Bloomberg the billionaire former mayor of New York City has pumped more than $40 million into super PACs in October

To that point, on Wednesday evening Trump tweeted the above campaign ad with footage of the murder trial of Luis Bracamontes, who was was sentenced to the death penalty back in April for the killing of two California police officers.

The survey was taken almost a week after former President Barack Obama took credit for the economic gains made during Trump's time in office.

Many are comparing the ad to the infamous 1988 "Willie Horton" ad used against Democratic presidential candidate Michael Dukakis, which many perceived as racist.

Joining with her fellow conservative Washington Post colleague, Max Boot, Rubin said Trump and the complicit GOP members have given every Republican a reason to walk away from the party next Tuesday and vote for Democrats.

As Massachusetts governor, Mr Dukakis supported the furlough program.

The White House and the Trump campaign did not immediately respond to requests for comments as to who made or paid for the video or if any tax dollars were used to run it from the President's account.

Cent Jumps In Nicki Minaj And Steve Madden Feud
Things got worse before they got better, though, and the calls for peace only came after the two went at it like it was their job. Cardi B was Little Mix's backup option for their song because Nicki Minaj took her damn sweet time and had them panicking.

But Bracamontes was first deported during the Clinton administration and later slipped back into the US during the George W. Bush administration, according to federal documents obtained by the Sacramento Bee. Bracamontes also starred in a Trump ad released in January, titled "Complicit", in an effort to drum up support for the border wall. He then reportedly returned to the U.S. in 2001, was deported, then returned again in 2002, all during Republican George W. Bush's administration. "I hope this doesn't work". It stood in stark contrast to an ad circulated by the Trump campaign earlier in the week that highlighted rosy economic numbers and depicted gauzy scenes of American suburban life.

Some noted that while Bush tried to distance himself from the Horton ad, which was not directly financed by his campaign, Trump has given the Bracamontes ad his full endorsement.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez characterised the ad as "distracting, divisive Donald at his worst". CBS News is not posting the video here because of the language used.

But the Trump campaign was behind the January 2018 video, released on its YouTube page, that featured Bracamontes's courtroom appearance. He killed the deputy and detective 13 years later.

Bracamontes initially entered the country illegally in 1993 and was deported in 1997 following a drug sentence.
