  • Wilder retains WBC heavyweight belt after battling to draw against Fury

The hard-hitting Wilder had Fury down in the ninth and final rounds of the match but the Briton controlled much of the fight behind his long jab, precise footwork and stout defence.

Tyson Fury pocketed a hefty $10 million purse for his Saturday night draw with WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder.

Well, after this disputed draw, there's really no choice but for Wilder to clear things up more definitively with Fury.

"We're on away soil", he said. Two and a half years out of the ring, 28 stone ballooned, mental health problems, I've just showed the world tonight that everyone suffering from mental health - you can come back. I'm a true champion, a true warrior.

Then Fury did come back with a couple of shots before once more the American came forward swinging.

Could a Joshua v Fury fight be next? "What he has been through in his personal life, to put in a performance like that". I don't know what fight he was watching.

Wilder, who retains his WBC belt after 12 rounds of pulsating action, had Fury on the canvas twice at the Staples Center in Los Angeles but was unable to deliver the knockout he had promised his fans. "Probably more logical to have that". "I don't think he had control. At the end of the fight, that's what it's all about", Wilder said.

Becoming choked up, the former champion signed off with an inspirational quote to other sufferers: "So get up, get over it and let's do it". Opinions were divided on the judges' decision, however, with some claiming that Fury was robbed of one of the greatest comebacks in history despite two knockdowns.

Despite there being no undisputed victor, both men gave proper respect following the fight, considering themselves the two best heavyweights in the world while also taunting Antony Joshua.

Fury's veteran promoter Frank Warren is also keen for a rematch, calling for an open-air duel in Britain sometime in 2019.

"I'd like to see it in the United Kingdom, fill a football stadium up, fill up Wembley, Arsenal, any of those big stadiums".

Microsoft wins $480 million HoloLens contract with US Military
The upgrades required include adding night vision, thermal sensing, and the monitoring of vital signs of the wearer. According to Bloomberg , the US Army and the Israeli military have already been trialling the HoloLens in training.

He had found his piece of pie in the USA and now must consider where his next tasty fight lies.

"We're on away soil, I got knocked down twice, but I still believe I won that fight", said England's Fury, whose awesome comeback continues following a two and a half-year absence from the sport.?

"I'm not going to sit here and complain, and scream robbery or whatever", Fury said. "We didn't get the result we wanted".

"I would love for it to be my next fight", Wilder said.

And although one judge scored the fight in Fury's favour, Alejandro Rochin had it 115-11 to Wilder while the third official had it as a tie. Everyone from Chadwick Boseman, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Shaquille O'Neal to boxing stars Gennady Golovkin and Mikey Garcia gathered for the marquee heavyweight bout. ESPN's Dan Rafael had Wilder 4-2 up after six but most people, including Abel Sanchez on BBC Radio 5 Live had Fury ahead at the halfway point.

Fury recovered well however and regained his composure to resume where he had left off. Regardless, Wilder-Fury II should take place in 2019 and it should happen immediately.

"Tyson's eyes rolled in his head. I don't know how he got up", the 33-year-old added.

Fury went on to say that he'd found the energy to get up because he's recently persevered through so much; weighing 400 pounds and caught in a cycle of drug and alcohol addiction in recent years, he'd considered suicide.

"I'm just an outsider with an opinion but it's a situation that is happening all over the world, especially in the United Kingdom as well". "I did it for you guys".

"I couldn't stay down".

"They need to get some good judges, these judges were bad", he said.
