NFL Team Cuts Star Running Back After Footage Of Attack On Woman

  • Your Daily Cartoon Kareem Hunt situation a bad look for NFL

"I feel like everyone gets angry sometimes". I know my upbringing wasn't ideal. "Everything is really happening fast right now and I just want everybody to forgive me".

The league issued a statement following the ESPN interview, saying that it has continued to review the facts of the case, including the video that TMZ unearthed, since the incident first occurred in February.

How will he go forward from this incident? "We are releasing Kareem immediately", the Chiefs said in a statement. No they have not.Did they ever ask you to talk about that incident? But he did have a message for her on air on Sunday.

Salters was excellent, pressing him repeatedly, even at one point asking whether he was sorry for the violence shown in the video or sorry that it had gotten out.

"On that video, that's not me, that's not the person I am, Hunt said". That isn't condoning Hunt's actions, it is just you have to speak on the severity of the incidents. He lied to the Chiefs about the incident, and did not receive discipline. Shortly thereafter, following Chiefs officials viewing the video, the team called Hunt back to the facility to inform him they'd be releasing him immediately. The NFL did not reach out to Hunt or the woman during their investigation.

Police recommend Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu be indicted for bribery
Police said they have enough evidence to show Netanyahu and his wife Sara accepted bribes and committed fraud and breach of trust. Two of his top confidants have turned state witnesses and are believed to have provided police with incriminating evidence.

It feels worse because Hunt seems to have shown more contrition toward the Chiefs and the National Football League than the woman in the video, who Hunt says, he has not spoken with since the night in question. In the bodycam video we posted, she asked to see the surveillance footage, and also asked the police to look at it. Everybody cares about you. "So if there was just words, you can back out of that situation". "He has a long life to live, this will be a defining moment, but it shouldn't be the moment that defines you". "The Chiefs - they did what was right". I regret the decision I made that night.

The NFL all-pro RB is now under investigation for more than one violent attack as the league is investigating for an incident in which he punched a man in the face in June, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Hunt is current on the commissioner's exempt list, which means he can not report to a team facility. What perspective could Hunt have possibly gained since he was released by the Chiefs less than 48 hours ago, when he coasted through an entire season without feeling the need to come clean about what had actually happened that night? He can not serve his suspension until claimed by a team.

"I feel like I let the Chiefs down, my family down, those players down, and those are really like my brothers", Hunt said.

Hunt was asked to explain why and how the incident escalated. She says it was eventually returned but, apparently, without the SIM card.

As to the why he did what he did, apparently "some things were said". "That person in the video did not deserve that".
