Never one to challenge himself too hard, "Money" Mayweather fattened his pocket book while flattening hapless kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa from Japan. The 41-year-old boxer earned $9 million to knock out kickboxing star Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition fight on New Year's Eve in Tokyo meant to be "all about entertainment".

Nobody knew what to expect when Mayweather agreed to a weird exhibition match against undefeated kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa.

Mayweather's reported purse for the effort?

There is still speculation that Mayweather could be interested in coming out of retirement for the victor of Manny Pacquiao vs Adrien Broner on January 19th.

In a bout that was scheduled for three rounds just outside Tokyo, Nasukawa lasted only two minutes and 20 seconds before his corner threw in the towel. Nasukawa, however, barely landed a clean punch against the vastly more experienced Mayweather. "We had fun", Mayweather said, per ESPN. "I'm still retired - I don't look forward to coming back to boxing but I wanted to do this to entertain the fans in Japan".

UAE reopens Syrian embassy amid regional influence race
Arab countries have sanctioned Damascus and condemned its use of military force against the opposition. Since then, most Arab countries have cut or downgraded their diplomatic relations with Syria.

As 2018 comes to a close, Rizin FF held its biggest show of the year with a new bantamweight champion and Floyd Mayweather taking down Tenshin Nasukawa.

While Mayweather claims he's still retired, it's tough to imagine him turning down another fight if the money was right. Tenshin is still undefeated - I'm still undefeated. "Tenshin is still a champion and a great fighter". I want the fans all around the world to support Tenshin. Toyko, Japan - you guys are fantastic - I want to say "Thank you".

With Kenny Bayless in the ring, a ludicrous size advantage and the rules favouring Mayweather, there was no way that Floyd was going to lose Monday's exhibition fight.

The fight was the conclusion of a weird buildup that featured Mayweather repeatedly claiming it was off and then back on again.
