Firm Synamedia has revealed a new AI system which is created to clamp down on people who share their accounts with other people. For many, password sharing is a no-hassle method of introducing their services to new customers. The software would combat "the rapid rise in account sharing between friends and families, turning it instead into a new revenue-generating opportunity for operators". It will train the AI-based system on factors such as location from where an account is being accessed from, what time it's used and for what duration, the content being watched, which device is being used, so on and so forth.

Well, not anymore. If a password is shared, such cases will be hunted down by a new service introduced by a United Kingdom company Synamedia.

So many streaming services, so little money. Many casual users will be happy to pay an additional fee for a premium, shared service with a greater number of concurrent users.

The system is being tested and in the future it will be offered to services like Netflix and HBO. During your Netflix membership we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access the Netflix service and view Netflix content.

The fraudulent behavior can also generate a message that, in some instances, asks a Netflix or other account holder if they would like to upgrade to the streaming service's premium option that includes sharing.

FOX News reports that the company found research showing about 26% of millennials give other people their credentials for video streaming services.

Bruce Arians could be Jameis Winston's last chance
He has a reputation for developing quarterbacks like Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger and Andrew Luck. The Bucs recently fired head coach Dirk Koetter after three seasons with the team.

The Credentials Sharing Insight software could have a major impact.

Synamedia says its system is being trialed now by a number of content providers, although it won't say exactly who they are.

'It's a great way to keep honest people honest while benefiting from an incremental revenue stream'.

The new platform will use artificial intelligence and machine learning and identify, monitor and analyze the pattern of password sharing.

The company said it is now conducting trials with several pay-TV operators albeit it did not provide further details on which ones.
