First Dates: The Psychology Of Dating Nerves (INFOGRAPHIC)

Dating isn’t always an easy thing to do, especially nowadays. With our busy lives, we don’t always have the time to go on dates or even to meet new people.

But when we do, we put humongous pressure on ourselves wanting to meet the other person’s expectations. The desire to please others is totally natural, on the other hand, not knowing what the other one will be like is also very stressful.

Is the other one will like us? What is he or she going to be like? Will we behave properly? Will he? These are only a few of the questions we ask ourselves that can heighten our stress level. While being nervous when dating is completely natural, this isn’t pleasant at all. It can paralyze us and lead to a bad date.

NeoMam Studios, an infographic design agency, has sent me this cool infographic where the psychology of dating nerves is entirely demystified. You will find in it:

  • Why do we get nervous? (and what are the symptoms)
  • The nervous brain explained
  • Why some people get more nervous than others?
  • How to avoid dating nerves

I really love to learn how we experience things, that’s why I am so glad to have been put in contact with this awesome infographic and to be able to learn the mechanics behind the dating nerves. Usually, when we understand how something works and with the right tricks, it is easier to control it. So happy dating and enjoy life!
